Intake question...
i dont understand that whole post about the K&N. I mean I have it and im not running rich, i dont stall. I mean yeah the one part is annoying being in that place. I might switch later but for now it does its job and i am satisfied with it. Not saying anything about Buschur Racing. I love their parts.
I got the AMS cone filter setup. (Technically, its a K&N Filter with a vibrant maf adapter.) Cost $75 shipped.
Although, right afterwards, I found out the local speed shop had this setup for $55. I about kicked myself since I always try to find the best deal on things.

Agreed, Stay with the stock box and get a high flow filter. You work hard for your money so don't waste it!
injen uicp
dont get the injen uicp/intake , a few of my friends have it and they are always blowin the pipe one the throttle body cuz the silicone coupler is to short and it cant withstand alot of boost.
Are you speaking from first hand knowledge and or experience? Or are you just parroting someone elses opinion? I have the K&N Intake on my IX MR and it is awesome. The AFR graph after the intake was smoother than the stock airbox. Allot of people on this board just mindlessly repeat other Disinformation. For just under $1100 I'm running mid 12's at the track with the K&N intake. Do a search there are many more people that like and get great results from the K&N Intake.
