without a tune race gas would be pointless because it allows you to run higher boost which makes more power and if you dont turn up the boost then theres no point

I doubt he'd be asking this question if his car was tuned for race gas. You're fine to run race gas and turn up the boost a little for a few more ponies, but like the other guy said it won't have the same results as if you tuned it for race gas.

you'll be fine running race gas....but like the others say...you won't get the full benefit unless you get tuned for race gas....you can turn up the boost a bit with out hurting nothing.

I saw a guy fill up on race gas on his stock evo and ran 15.5 at the track.

Make sure it's unleaded race gas. Leaded race gas will foul your o2 sensors. Other than that it wont hurt to run it but you'll not see any gains unless you tune for it like others have said.

Just set the boost higher and enjoy, but i would avoid leaded unless tuned for it, like the others have stated.

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?
