New member, looking for info on Evo1
hey guys, I'm new here. I'm more of a Toyota guy then a DSMer but I was looking at a Evo1 and thought I'd search for some more info on it.
I own a '92 JDM GT-four RC, if any of you are into wrc then I'm sure you know what it is.

I also have the US version All-trac.
I was looking at getting an Evo1 and was trying to find out what they are worth, what's unique about 'em and how rare are they in the states?
thanks in advance.
Dustin

the evo 8 and up are the only u.s. spec evos available in the u.s. if you want to get an evo 1 it's gonna be hard but doable..you just gotta do a lot of paper work to get 'em here to the u.s. from japan or somewhere else.

Thanks, it's my pride and joy.
thank you. I was also looking at an Evo 5, I like it a lot more but it doesn't seem to have the same rally pedigree that the Evo 1 does. How much is a Evo 5 worth that's not registered though has all import paper work, bill of landing, export certificate, etc.

So do you go through in reverse in the drive thru line?

Why do you say that?
Have you driven Evo I through IX? I've driven EvoI, II, IV, VIII and IX. In my opinion, IX is the fastest on tarmac. I through III were lighter, but I'd definitely go with III if I pick from the first body style. My personal favorite was IV, for I felt like it was the first Evo I have ever driven.

I love the EvoV more then the EvoI due to styling but I like cars with a strong history in rally/wrc (like my GT-four pictured above) so if the EvoV is a 5000 homologation car with wrc wins I'd opt for it over the EvoI which is a wrc homologation car with 5000 made and numerous wrc wins.
