I was thinking about getting a custom dyno tune at AMS performance in Chicago. I would like to know how much Horsepower extra everyone thinks that AMS can get with my mods. I might get a 255 walbro pump too, def. getting headstuds, spiking to about 23 to 24 on 93 octane shell v-power. if anyone had about the same mods on their IX and went to ams how much did you get on the tune? thanks for help if you can.

 

With just a tubular mani, O2, DP and tune I gained ~35 whp. That was at about 22 psi. It wasn't an AMS tune though ... I did it myself. I'd say if you have no tune at all now, you can expect 35-40 hp gains.
