It's just a fancy fascade for the resistor trick. I wouldnt recommend u do any mods like this cuz it ****s with ur engine and will eventually mess it up. What it does is it makes the engine think there is more cold air coming in forcing it to dump more gas into the mixture before it reaches ur pistons and kaboom.... bigger explosions which means more HP. Only thing that happens is u run richer, ur engine will get all ****ed up cuz of an improper air/fuel ratio. I would advise against any e-bay mods like this.

I cannot find any information about either one of those products or companies on the net.

 

Instead of a .02 cent fixed resistor they have upped the ante a bit and but in a .15 cent potentiometer (adjustable resistor). Unbeliveable. At least you can turn off the trash, or at least turn it down. I can just see a bunch of kids playing Fast and Furious with this like its the NOS button. After the race... "He's got the adjustable resistor dude, no one can touch that Lancer."
