I’m also new to these forums. I’m a long time fan of the Lancer Evo Viii, which unfortunately isn’t available in Canada. I settled for a 03 Lancer ES but I’m eager to mod it to make it look and run more like an Evo. I want to start first with body modifications and was hoping to get some sound advice. I’m thinking about starting with Evo style side skirts and spoiler, but does anyone know if the Evo spoiler can be mounted on the ES model?

 

i am pretty sure it is. i have seen a couple of people do it. however i am uncertain if they got an evo or an evo-style spoiler.

 

I saw one listed on an aftermarket parts website. The width of it was wider then the standard spoiler, something like 52' instead of 49.

You may also be able to find the spoiler on this board. Assuming you have the right color, an Evo owner who wants to go wingless could swap the whole trunk lid with you.

A genuine Evo spoiler is also a direct fit on the 03 trunk. Since you have the ES, the hole aren't pre-drilled, but at least you wouldn't have to fill the middle one...
