10w40 okay for oil change?

10w40 okay for oil change?

I know the owners manually says 10w30, but i can't find redline in 10w30 anywhere around here, but i found 10w40 in redline and was wondering would it be okay to run that? now that winter is coming up? even though it doesn't get that cold around here in GA

I run AMSoil 10w40 without any problems. AMS recommended it, actually.

Agree

So many different suggestions/opinions on what should be used

Can someone just tell me the recommended oil /oilweight for the higher performance motors..
