Thumbs up Not quite new, but...

Hi all. By now I've got 10,400 mi on my TB Evo IX SE. I use it as my daily commuter to work, and drive it whenver I get a chance (get the groceries, get a haircut, for the hell of it... whatever). I looked at a few cars before settling on the Evo... the Speed6, Speed3, the G35S... but in the end I went for all-out performance and damn the lack of cruise control and cushy suspension ...and never looked back. I laugh when reviewers bemoan the lack of amenities of the Evo - they just don't get it - this is a car for real driving, for people that love cars! Thanks for making this wonderful machine & happy driving to all!

Welcome! And I agree on the amenities, its not the focal point of the Evo, the performance is.

I intend never to sell it, so I drive it as much as I can - plus I want to make the most of the damn insurance premium

I drive mine daily when possible, thats what I bought it for. Mine is TB also. I have 4600 on mine, 300 I put on it. I have only had 3 days to drive it. Good luck with yours.

Welcome! IMO the Evolution is the best bang for the buck hands down. If I wanted Bluetooth capability, CC, or a more posh interior and ride...Acura or Infiniti would have been my choice. I look at my car and see purpose in all of its design. It may not be pretty...it looks like stink, but it goes like stink. My favorite is the "econobox interior" comment heard consistently. I didn't pay $32K for the interior. I paid it because I knew it is the best performing car on the planet for that price point. Scooby STis are badass too, but my preference is the Evo! Anyway, welcome aboard and congrats on the car!!!

Forget the bells and whistles, kudos to you for no being afraid to actually use your car!
