Just curious how often u guys change ure fluids and with what? I change my oil every 2 k with royal purple. I only have 4k on my evo. How often do u change ure tranny, diff and transfer cse fluids? Any recomendations welcome.

 

I changed my tranny, diff, and t-case at 10k. A lot of people may say around 5k to flush the fluids and clean out some metal shavings.

Other than that I would say every 10-15k. Depends on how you drive the car and the fluids you use really.

 

This is my personal regimen. Have 70,000 miles so far.

Oil: every 3-4000 miles.

Tranny: Every 7500 or so.

TC and rear diff: Every 15000 miles.

 

as needed

 

oil every 2500 - 3000.

all other fluids, every 5k.

 

i do about 5000 for motor oil but i use that amsoil turbo fomulated stuff that u are supposed to run for like 12,000. im at like 4500 right now and its really really clean. stuff is amazing.

but i have never changed my diff or TC oil. please someone teach me. how hard are they to change?

 

7k just to be on the safe side.

 

3K for Engie oil / filter, 5K air filter, 15K for tranny/TC/Diff


Note.. did not have metal in first tranny fluid change.. came out looking like honey.

 

3k for Engine & Filter. 15k for drivetrain fluid ALWAYS OEM DIAQUEEN and MR tranny fluid

 

Oil: Every 1000 Miles
Tranny, Diff, TC: Every 10,000 Miles

Clean Air Filter, Flush Coolant: Every 5,000 Miles

But i only have 13,000 Miles

 

yes only OEM... diaqueen... i used teh amsoil... didn't work out too well for my tcase...

 

+1 on OEM fluid for 6 speed.

 

Tranny and Tcase every 15k, oil ever 2.5k.

 

looks like im goin to gow ith 5k for the other major fluids(oil every 2k), ill stay OEM

 

oil every 2.5 k or 3k, and tranny, tc, rear diff. every 15k, but just did mine when i got my Exedy done.
