New DBA Brakes are making sounds! HELP!

OK so today ups came and dropped off my 4 new DBA rotors and HPS pads!

So i went outside jacked up the front end of my car then started taking the rims off!

First thing that went wrong was the people who i last bought my tires off striped 3 of the 5 lugs and bolts on the front left side so i have to cut them off and pound some new ones in!

Then Took the caliper off that went well.
Then i attempted to take the old rotor off and it was one hell of a fight!

So i pounded the old Bolts out and put the new ones in! They didn't seem to want to go all the way in flush no matter how much pounding and hammering went into them! Well only one went in flush! along with the one that was not stripped that i didn't have to cut or remove!

So i put the new rotor on and taped it into place with a couple loving taps of a hammer. then i put the caliper back on after cleaning it put the new pads in and made sure they were gooped up good. After that i installed the pins and what not back in! I put the rim back on and put the new lug nuts on and put 100 lbs on them and was done with that side. I did the same for the other side but i didn't have stripped lugs and nuts so it was easy!

Now when i step on the brakes they make a Thumping sound or Knocking sound! Nothing i do makes them go away! I tried making the lugs tighter! and made sure the pads were on right! the Rotors look straight and they don't make any noise when i don't touch the brakes. Can someone help me out? The wheel doesn't move and i only feel it in the brake peddle and it sounds like its in the same spot each time the wheel god 1 full rotation!

I had this problem back in June. I replaced my front rotors with the DBA's and Hawk pads. My front passenger rotor would make that same thumping sound. I ended up putting the stock rotors back on to see if it was the pads or the rotors and sure enough it was the rotor. No matter how tight I would torque the wheel down the rotor would not sit correctly on the lip of the spindle. I happend to buy them from Tirerack and they were nice enough to send me another one out. I installed the new one and it was silent.

Hope that helps.

Like mentioned above you just bought them and your having problems. Call the company you bought them from and see if they will send out a new set. I know you said your old rotors are shot, but you may have to just reinstall them for now and take it really easy. Either that or buy new rotors, which you said you didnt have the money for though.
