I have a 2005 evo8. Every time I try to get on it...the rpms don't go up as fast as they used to. It doesn't put me back in my seat. I feel no boost, even though my boost gauge says I'm pushing 21 psi. Does anyone know what this might be?

 

Maybe your just getting used to the car and need to do some more mods? Lol

Check your gas, maybe you got a bad tank somewhere...

 

or your driving it in some hot weather and/or ur pulling timing. maybe u have a boost leak, do u notice ur boost stays close to 21 all the way up to redline?

 

u got used to the car the same thing happened to me. it used to feel real fast and rev real fast but now im used to it and need more mods

 

Lack of methanol injection?

Pull a log and see how it's running. Are there any indications of a mechanical problem (noises, etc...)?
