Start with a drop in filter, mbc, boost gauge, then a 3" tbe
If you must have a new bov find a stock IX dv and use that.
If you just want to hear it get a cone filter instead of the stock air box.
Then get it tuned and enjoy.

Need some help here..
I have installed the agency power ti exhaust with test pipe and a downpipe.. now i am amazed of the sound and performance, but i have one question.
sometimes when i kick the acceleration with excellent shifting "as i feel" after the right shift i hit the accelleration then the engine and turbo boosts up, then i hear some bursts then it goes back to the regular on going rpm while high accelleration. Its like after shift rpm 5 for example the rpm goes on to 6 then bursts a bit then continue to 7rpm, my max rmp is 7.6 or 7.7 not too sure but sure that above 7.5.
anyway i am not too clear about this case if its damaging the car or it is normal. and sorry for the long story.

Just a little advice. before you start modding this car, get comfortable with it, i mean that in the sense of driving it and being able to control it at all times. Then..... the mods.

Congrats on the car, you will love it and like sixfatbabies said get comfortable with it how to shift and drive it. Then mod it. Modded this car can be very fast and if your not careful you can hurt yourself and others. It is very easy to make close to 400 whp on our cars and let mwe tell you it is fn fast.. You are running a full exhuast with no tune and that is way you are experiencing that stutter.

Hi all, i`m new in the forum, i just bought a 2004 EVO 8 RS, finally my dream came true, my first car was a 98 Lancer 1.6, i love my car but i always dream to have an EVO now i can believe it i have it in my garage

My EVO RS have 19k miles all stock, now i want to start to upgrade but don`t know where to begin, i want to start with the intake, turbo timer, blow off valve and the muffle. There is a lot of brands and i don`t know which ones worth it.
Can someone give me some advice how to begin.
By the way does someone knows where can i find the OEM rear fiber carbon spoiler?

Then mod out, intake, exhaust, UICP, LICP, DP,MBC, if you plan on staying w the stock turbo get an o2 housing, TP, and maybe some cams and a FMIC then a tune. Lastly have fun with your new rocket ship!!
