Amazing car really.

As far as swapable yeah, same chassis. CT9A, still a 4G63 motor (no mivec le sigh.)

the lighter titanium turbine will help the turbo spool faster.

well since u have an acd u will need an exhaust that clears the acd like a ix exhaust. correct me if i am wrong but i think i am right. other things should be the same with an VIII

so when i am doin research on this car all of the stuff for the evo viii should apply, such as cams, ecu stuff, common problems?????

Yes that is correct. The usdm 05 evo VIII is basicly a evo VII minus some goodies AYC, anti-lag and a few other styling Qs. One of the things that won't work is a non acd downpipe for a 03-04. The ecu is flashable with ecuflash though, some of the hacks and patches might not be for your particular ecu ROM. Everything else will bolt right up.... suspension, clutch, cams, intakes, turbo kits ect....
