EVO 7 and EVO 8 are not the same car. they are basically the same but still there are difference. evo 7 was never introduced in US therefore all evo 7 are JDM or EURO spec. evo 7 has ACD AYC, anti-Lag port, exterior styling is different, and my favorite, Jdm evo use titanium turbine. But as far as the parts concern, they should all be interchangable.

first thing you do with a 7 is buy a carbon fiber hood. Then send me your stock one.

is that the black evo vii that was for sale here on the boards that you bought? post pics when you can! i think those jdm evo vii's are better on quite a few areas compared to the usdm evo viii's, being that they have ayc/acd, etc. welcome to the boards!

No I didnt know there was a black one for sale. This one is stock besides a catback, and has 53k km on it. Thank you all for all of the info. I was having trouble finding information on it. Does any one know of a way to run a japanese vin through like a vin check system? I have been searching and am having trouble finding one.
