Finally broke in the evo

I went to mid ohio raceway today for the acura high performance school. It was amazing.. I finally really got to see what my evo had in it in the corners and around cones. We auto x'd, did a skid car, and did cones down and back for breaking and turning. Then we got to beat on some TSX's and s2000's. Then at the end of the day we went out on the track and raced for about 45 minutes. At very least to say, i was absolutely amazed with the evo in every way. i was able to keep it in the 4000-5000 range coming in and out of every turn and destroyed all the cars there. Those including a porsche carerra 4 (believe me or not), 90's carerra, dodge srt 8, 350z, civic si, and the instructor who drove a TSX. It's nice to know that your car has that kind of capability when you need it. p.s. i highly recommend this school to ANYONE, even if you are already a good driver, it's still freaking awesome. Getting to pound on an s2000 was a completely different experience...

Sounds like a lot of fun. Do you have any more info on the "acura high performance school?" Is it only open to Acura owners?

I did all three of the performance schools back when they had RSX-S's. Pretty fun and a good learning experience.

Not to correct you or anything, but have you ever looked at Road Atlanta's website? Skip Barber Racing offers both a driving school and a racing school at Road Atlanta in Braselton. Also I am sure that somebody does HPDE events up there. You can also check out Roebling Road and Little Talledaga. Just thought I would let you know.

I totally thought this thread was about something else. 3 day Panoz driving school at Road Atlanta is very good from what I have been told by graduates insisting I take the course.
