Possibly buying an Evo

Howdy all

I registered on these boards a couple days ago (maybe yesterday).

I found an Evo BR350 (which I didn't even know what it was until I looked into it, seeing as there IS no such model normally). It has 15k miles, and it looks to be in fair condition (going to see it on Saturday).

I'm curious to see if anyone has one, or knows someone that has one and can give me some advice as to whether or not the car is more or less reliable than a standard Evo, and if there are any problems that I should really look for and anticipate when I test drive the car.

Thanks much all

Buschur Racing built Evo. You're in good hands.

i think that's the automatic version, full swap - that's why it might not be listed as a model.

Good choice, though I'd be a little skeptical of the crankwalk issue.

Last car (current) is a ****ty Escort ZX2. Before anyone starts the flaming, realize that I bought it my sophomore year of college, and it's finally dying. I ride a GSXR1000 (a sportbike for those not familiar), and I'm a serious adrenaline junkie. I'm finally at a point where I can afford something that I want, and the Evo won the battle for my money over a MazdaSpeed6 and an STi.

That's one of my worries actually. I found a buyer's guide for Evo's that lists several things you should look out for, and the serial numbers for the frames. Any kind of heads up or information you could give me on things to look out for would e greatly appreciated.

The new 4g63's still crank walk!? I remember way back when learning about 2nd gen TSi's crank walking, but I didn't know it was still a problem. Any advice on this topic, or any information you could link me to would again be a substantial help. I want to be as informed as possible.

Thank you all for the quick replies! I really appreciate anything you could share with me.
