Is this the ebay intercooler everyone talks about?
Its been proven that it is less effective that buschur's unit. With that in mind, thats the only thing that has been actually proven.
Since no vender benefits by proving that intercooler's effectiveness, no vender has bothered to see where it works well, or if it works at all.
Buschur tested it on a car with an upgraded turbo, and greater than stock boost, only to find that the intercooler was inadequate for that type of application.
Several users here on evom with more stock like configurations have said it works well, but none have back to back dyno charts versus a stock intercooler.
So the bottom line here is,
1) No its not as good as some of the name brand intercoolers available
2) There is no proof that it is better than stock
3) There is no proof that it is worse than stock
4) If you want to buy an eBay intercooler, that is the correct one.

^Well said. However, you cannot rule out the fact that these ebay intercoolers can come from different companies. Therefore because of that, you will probably get different results from different intercoolers even though they are all from ebay. One person may receive a well designed fmic while another may receive a faulty design from a certain company, you would have to find out. But if you want a dyno proven fmic, I would wait to save some money for a brand name.

BTW yes it is the correct IC on ebay that everyone talks about, but time and time again the real deal is the way to go if you can afford it.....

its good on stock turbo, that's it.
because it's a lil bit better than the stock core.
when it's time for a Bigger turbokit. than get rid of it, because its gonna rob you out of HP, just as it did to one of the buschurs cars when they replaced their FMIC with that thing.
IMO save the money and save up to $400 and get an ETS !

one of my friend got an E-bay FMIC, since we couldn't decide ,it is good or bad. We sad hey you gotto try it for that money. 
Well ,the thing is, 3 weeks later he brought the TurboXS one.And he sold the ebay one. If he wants to comment here he will ,i will give him a heads up about this topic.

I didnt have good luck with it. the f bumper was very hard to get back on, and when I finally did, the cooling fan was hitting. Didnt come with right mounting brackets either. I heard turboxs fits well. Also---I don't know if its true- only had on for 1 day, but a friend told me the stock intercooler works up to 30 psi, and a bigger intercooler actually slows you down if less then 30, because of pressure drop.
that is a knock off of the ams front mount, bee carefull cuz i know some ppl that buy these for 150 and spray paint the ams logo and sell them for 400+ but i have an ebay intercooler and its worked out fine but fyi the stocker is good for 400hp+/-
