Well im surprised you havent gotten flamed to death for mentioning an Ebay intercooler. Usually people will tell you to buy a $700 AMS or other expensive brand. But it has been proven that an ebay intercooler can make power. If you go to google and search "evo intercoolers" im sure you could the thread on it. Whats your power goal, turbo and use of car?

The first one in your post, they are a vendor on this site so chances of it being a knock off are lower.

Try using the search function on this forum... This topic has been argued to death.

He's not really looking. He's calling them out for being an ebay intercooler.

IDK what happened to the search on here but it seems to not work so great anymore. I usually go to google and use the work "evo" in whatever I am searching and something on EvoM usually comes up...

whats so bad about these ebay intercoolers??? i currently am running an ebay CXracing intercooler atm and i def dont have 7-800 for a good branded one so just needed some opinions... i will be doing 550+hp on a mustang dyno so i will be trying the VRSF one and the search button here is plain stupid.. ANYTHING with the word "intercooler" pops up

Ahh, I think I sense the sarcasm now...

Keep in mind that was quite a long time ago. In this day and age, information quickly becomes history... New companies/products have emerged. I would bet that some "eBay intercoolers" would have different results now.

The first one actually doesn't look too bad, offset fins, nice look but for the price I'd spend just a little more and get an AMS.

This applies to the second one he posted, the first one does appear to be made the correct way to stand up to the top name brands but again I'd seriously think about saving a couple hundred more and getting an AMS or ETS, I run an AMS and I love it.

I have a VRSF, its not poorly constructed by any means. Its heavy thou. there are plenty of threads on this, with pros and cons and blah blah. I didnt by any means pay $475 for it thou, i paid WAY LESS [hundreds]. there has been testing on this intercooler, showing it is better then the other Ebay intercoolers and stock ones search and find out, also search and see if anyone with a VRSF has any issues with it, youll be hard pressed to find that. Everything ive seen on it was a positive, plus i got mine on the CHEAP and it was new and its the 4" and it fits behind the crash beam and offset fins! IMO its a good intercooler for my needs. The other one the OBX, eh not So much.Search and find OBX related topics, youll see many many many issues with there "stuff"
Could i justify spending $500+ more on a intercooler, nope i wanted a COP instead lol.
