I actually dont do it anymore and haven't done it in a long time. Its just irresponsible, immature and lame. You must be young because by your tone it seems like your at the age where street racing is still "cool".

Dont freeway race, **** if someone tries to race u. Just ignore them or laugh, dont bother punching it. That will truly **** them off, I do it all the time. Im not trying to be ur mother or anything its ur choice. Just giving my .02 cents. Btw once u drive ur evo u will realize it pulls pretty damn hard stock. If u want a radar detector buy a Valentine One.

It is AWD. It is not the most aerodymically efficient. It is not meant to be a highway bruiser. Enjoy it for what it is meant for.

Something tells me that even stock it is going to be fast enough to get you into trouble on the highway.

speed or acceleration? If you want good top speed, just get a really tall final gear, put a really big turbo with supporting mods, then block all the holes you see that doesn't do much to cooling. But as above poster mentioned EVO sucks for top speed and high speed acceleration, might as well get a supra or a corvette.

hhhhhmmmm... I'll just enjoy the stock Evo at the begining, and latter add the basics....
And some of you guys are judging me too much, I'm gonna be takin great care of the Evo, I'm not gonna buy it to hook it up crazy, and race with every Honda I see on the street... We all bought Evo most likely because of engine and drivetrain...

02 housing helped the highway acceleration on my car ...but turbo-back exhaust, MBC, and a tune is a good start

I think you'll be suprised as to how well the Evo pulls on the highway. You'll have to get the rev's up a little in 5th gear, but I remember being impressed with my car when I got. It goes from 80 to 120 real quick, even stock.
