Car jerks when I let off the gas

Recently my car started jerking when I let off the gas on my IX. I'd expect it to jerk in 1st and 2nd gear but this is happening throughout all my gears. Sometimes its rough and othertimes it doesn't jerk at all. The only thing that I have changed on this car is the BOV, which I had put in the Greddy Type S. I took it back out and put the stock BOV back in and have confirmed that its hooked up correctly. It is not venting atmospherically, I have it recirculating like it should. This doesn't happen 100% of the time but I can get it to happen atleast a few times in about 5 minutes. Can anyone help me out with this?

maybe ur type S is set too tight... loosen it quarter of a turn increment and see if its alil smoother.

FYI aftermarket bov will never truely have smoothness of stock bov so dont expect it.

I understand this and thats why I said I took it off. I realized that there is no need to have an aftermarket BOV. I am having these issues with the stock BOV.

Are you fully lifting off the gas pedal or just partially lifting?

Partially you will always get a buck.

I am fully lifting off the gas pedal when I do it. I'm not sure if this helps or not but I do not notice any jerkiness when I shift. This is just happening when I fully let off the gas.

^^^ Agreed. I have been having the same probs when I wear my dress shoes or boots driving. It interferes with the smoothness of your feet. Also the medal sport pedals don't help. When I have sneakers or something really snuggly on. I drive fine. It was usually trying to let it off partially, it would buck. Aftermarket bov's seem to make things worst.

GL with it. Keep us posted.

I've put 20k miles on this but I haven't had this happen before until recently. Could it have to do with the clutch wearing out? Unfortunately its not something thats caused by the shoes I wear :-/. When I let off the gas I do not even engage the clutch because I'm usually letting off the gas when coasting down the road or highway. I'm kinda stuck here because it could sound like its just normal operation but I think something is wrong here. I mean if this is normal, which I doubt a rough jerk in the car can be called normal, why would it rear it's ulgy head now?

check your spark plugs and make sure you don't have any boost leaks.

how is the idle?

Idle is right on the money. I'll be sure to check the spark plugs though. Thank you for the suggestion.

If you only have 20,000 on it, I would take it to the dealer and let them figure it out. Make sure the OEM bov is on before you go.

maybe you have the stock recir. valve installed backwards and one of the vacuum hose isn't hooked up properly.

Double check everything.
