Hi everyone!
Hi everyone!
Hi guys! Wanted to gather information and say hello to everyone because I have a feeling I will be around quite often in the near future.
I currently drive a 2000 Celica GT-S. Have been driving it for about 2 and a half years now and I'm ready to retire this car and get into something I will have more fun with/more potential. To give you an idea, my budget is $24,000 or less. I figure this could get me into a nice low mileage *stock* Evo. I won't buy a modified car, past experiences with my friends and modified cars never seems to pan out haha!
Regardless, I had a few questions. I am new to FI and plan to spend alot of time reading on the boards. I was curious on a few things. Are there any major differences in the years? I.E. 03 having any advantage over 04?! How many lbs do the Evos run stock? What is a safe number (PSI) after minor bolt-ons (TBE, manual boost controller, fuel pump, intake, etc. etc.) and a proper tune? I'm sure that I will be doing light modifications (for now) to the Evo but I'm a fan of doing things proper and the right way, even if they cost more. Any other advice is appreciated. Thanks for your time guys!
Pics of my Celica, if anyone wanted to see... it is For Sale
