element cone filter

i have been doing alot of research on this forum and i see that you need to get a tune after u do an intake upgrade. when i had my gs-t i had an injen intake with hard piping and never needed a tune. if i run an element cone filter (I.E apexi, bushur, or turbo xs) do you need to get a tune?

^^^^I agree. And the fact that you probably never got your GS-T tuned doesn't mean it didn't need one. As was mentioned, it might run just fine w/out the tune, but for optimal results, tuning is required.
