The first upgrade you should do is driving. No joke, they are pretty fast stock.

If you want to try some modding, get a drop in filter and cat back exhaust. We don't know much about parts for the X yet, so I'm just giving suggestions that I'd give for any import.

Yes, just like any new car...get the feel for it. Try it out at an event or something to learn it's limits; then improve upon them.

First off congrats on getting one of the coolest cars out there period

But yeah just like everyone's saying defiantly don't rush modding that beast just yet, take you're time to get to know the handling and clutch really well first, cause no matter how much you mod a car, the best mod is the driver

Evo FTW lol

Take it from me who has crashed an Evo before that was nowhere near "stock". Learn to drive the car before you even THINK about modding it, especially power modifications. Loss of control can happen at any time - I wasn't even "messing around" with my evo, and it was DONE.

So BE CAREFUL. Learn to drive it! Then mod it.

I'm with the practical suggestions! Learn the car, then upgrade parts. It would seem the EVO X has a new exhaust layout, it may take sometime before we can see modification support from companies.
