Just tried to install a Tomei Duracon shift knob, sized M10x1.25. I have the longer 90mm version, it slips all the way on but doesn't tighten/thread. Seems like the threads in shift knob are to far up and don't make contact with the shifter stem. The shorter version of this knob is 70mm and I assume maybe the threading is located lower in the knob. Can anybody give me any feedback on this? Really a nice piece and like the feel of it, suppose to thread right on.
