hey guys, i have an ES auto and have installed GReddy Evo catback, and Injen SRI. i have noticed increased hp and much better top end handling. i just got back from the movies, and raced a new celica off a roll. totally pulled on the guy. i recommend a FULL catback. next mod for me is the RRM TB. this of course is me on my way to turbo.

you guys are about equal.
Or the GReddy emanage. Less money, more tunability.
DON'T just throw an exhaust at this car. Get rid of those catalytic converters first. Headers, testpipe. Put a bigger filter on that SRI- the worst that will happen is that you take in the maximm amount of air that the engine will allow, and you'll have to change your filter less often.
People will say that an exhaust will "increase the top end power". No such thing on the Lancer. This car cuts out at 6.5K RPM. That's mid-band on most other cars that we'll be racing. It's vital to take advantage of the full band.
You aren't limited to the RRM TB, either. RPW can make a TB up to 63mm, I believe. It may even be 70mm. Call VisionImports.
I do like the RRM headers and it may be a consideration if you want to turbo with RRM. Rpw's NA header setup apparently doesn't work with their turbo.
AND if you're still pulling 10sec 0-60 you may need better tires and more launch practice
you'll hear about these car mags *****ing that it takes a shift into 3rd to hit 60. BS. I routinely hit around 62 in 2nd just before the cutoff.
And the mods that ara avail for these cars do seem expensive. Esp compared with stuff for the Civic, etc. Keep in mind that just about everything were seeing, though, is top quality. I'd rather pay a little more for a product I know will work than have to buy the better product after I tried to save a few bucks with company X.
Good luck!!
