stock Boost?

I was wondering what is the stock boost on a 03 evo?

i dont have a boost gauge so i was wondering.

also whats the most boost you can run on a stock turbo w/ these mods

upper n lower ic piping, intake, 255lph fuel pump , turbo back exhaust (no cat),

i am planning on getting a boost controller this week n a boost gauge so i was wanting to turn it up. could it hold 24psi or what else would i have to do to it?

I don't want to hijack your thread but I was wondering how much boost a mostly stock Evo could run?
I have a K&N drop-in air filter, and 3 inch turbo-back exhaust.

With a fuel pump and 93 octane you can 23/24 but it will depend on the car and your tuner.

Installing a TBE should actually allow your car to boost about .5-1 psi more already.

Yes, you always need a tune to get maximum results from mods.

How do so many people not know the stock boost outputs of these cars lol? Anyway the search button whould be a huge help because I know for a fact this has been asked 10873569 times if not more.

And to get more in detail stock 03-04 Evos peak 19.5 but taper to 16 at like 5-6k to redline. so it doesnt hold that high. The 05-06 Evos will hold up there

My 05 is acting like an 03 then. In first and second it looks like I am only boosting 15psi, if I run a long load on 3rd gear it will hold at ~ 19-20psi then taper down to 16 in the upper RPMs. I'm gonna check for leaks this weekend, I think the car let out a howl the day before yesterday, but being in traffic I don't know if it was me or someone else's car...

Dont worry about boost in 1st and 2nd, it will never be at 20lbs. You check your boost in 3rd gear, which you did and looks like everything is fine.

Keep in mind the stock VIII BOV leaks at like 17PSI so anything higher it wont hold to well up high.
