I am upgrading from my IX to a Lear Jet. I am taking off the wings and going to drive it on the streets. What should my first mods be, and ya think I could beat an SR71 from a roll?

Good luck with your future Evo. Learn to drive it first...before any mods. Driver mod is the most important!

if they hadda choice I would be paying for every little thing.
Your going to be a licensed broker at 16 ...Hmmmm I thought you had to be older than 18...I think this post is silly and your dad should be quite concerned for your safety -- the Evo is not a car intended for a novice driver.

don't you have to brake it in for about 3k miles before you start slaming on the car.
Anyway, you are going to kill yourserlf on that car with all those mods... in any case, too bad for the car.

No. Break in period is to cover the asses of the manufacturers. Search "Break In" and read some of the threads.

And as for FutureIX, good luck man. On the board these days, you're pretty much expected to get kicked in the nuts with topics like this....but I'll ask a couple of questions.........

At 15, what have you driven?

I would say, if you get an Evo, take the time and REALLY master the car. I was 24 when I got my Evo and it took me a few months to really learn where the limit for the car was...kit was HIGH.

The reason I suggest this, is that even though the Evo will basically rescue you from being an idiot behind the wheel (not implying you're an idiot, you know what I mean) when things finally do get out of control in an Evo, you are definitely going pretty fast, and when it gets ugly, it gets UGLY.

SO! I would say, if you're parents are going for this, get into some sort of organzied racing, Auto-X. Take some instructed track days, and bring someone along with you...brother, Dad, Mom....

So good luck with the purchase.

Great. Another one of these teenage *** nuggets. I'd like to know what places are willing to hire 15 year-olds and pay them $70k/year.

XD@this topic.

First off, you don't know **** about the Evo, you have no driving experience, and you are going to die in a huge fiery crash(try not to take out any innocents in the process)

Second, I would also like to know who in their right mind would hire a ****ing 15 yr old, and pay them 70k/yr starting salary? Looks like you dont know much about the world kid, and have this starry eyed approach to life.

and i would think child labor laws would prevent them from working you over 40 hours or week, or at night...something like that.

i'm going to call bs on this, if someone else hasn't already.
