Grounding Kit

Hey, I was just wondering if the grounding kit for the evo is worth it. Does it help with smoothing out the clutch release in 1st? If it doesn't, what exactly does it improve?

Also, I have a pretty basic question about turbo spool. If you are launching from lets say 4.5k, will your turbo be fully spooled by the time you slip the clutch? If not, how does the turbo (and when) begin to spool and when should I expect the power gains?

Grounding kits just "stabilize" by creating more grounding points from the battery. There are better things to buy than grounding kits for the Evo. I don't really get what you mean by smoothing out the clutch release in 1st, but from what I understand of that statement - no.

And..

I mean at what rpm does the turbo begin to release power, when does it engage?

I looked up the answer for the grounding kit and it seems to just smooth out the idle which could be what I want......

if you are running stock boost and you two step at 5000k it doesn't go to full boost. it runs at like 6 pounds!! but will go up after launching. if you don't have one get a boost gauge!!!!!!
