I've got both... and '03 VIII (with under 9K miles) and an '06 IX (with under 20K miles).

After alot of commentary and alot of thought, I'm building the .06 IX and parting out the remainder of the VIII. It's funny but I'll end up with basically TWO cars to part out as most of the VIII interior is getting yanked and the stock suspension won't be used, etc, etc, etc...

In fact, I've already got the IX stripped. Wow, what a pile of stuff that makes! Who knew there were so many bits in there. LOL!

Anyway, I'll be posting it on ebay and stuff since I can't post anything for sale in this forum for QUITE a while.

So thanks for your help in this (and the other) thread. I've decided on the IX and it's mostly because of all of you.

What about these????
RS:
No rear wiper
No sound deadening
No side carpet in the trunk
No radio or speakers
Has aluminum stress bar in the trunk, under the latch (not sure if this is an RS only item)

 

Odd... the stats page that was posted earlier shows the rear wiper available ONLY on the RS and the front wipers NOT available in intermittent wiper wash.

That must be a typo.... because I know that RS models come with front wipers! LOL!!!

IF that's incorrect... I wonder what else is on that list?

Solves that, I'm tossing the list out.
