Thanks, I was thinking of f8TL but azn benz gets the point across.

 

Get a good used Evo 9. They have more potential with the bigger stock turbo and the more aggressive stock cams.

But I still love my Evo 8 because I have a sunroof.

 

try to steer clear of 03'-04s if you can as those are the ones with the most problems. plus they have a slightly smaller turbo and hotside, and a open front diff. the 9's would be the more ideal choice as they can produce slightly more power for less.

evo 9 with TBE, fuel pump, mbc, and a tune = a evo 8 with TBE, fuel pump, mbc, cams, and tune. also the 9's come with ACD and a front LSD

ill sell u my mr for what i owe on it. 40k. lol. i got raped on the price cuz i traded in a brand new se with 6k miles on it for a mr. stupid i know but i blew the trans and xfer case and wasnt covered under warranty. get a 9 tho. i had both the 03 evo and 06 and the 9 makes way more power for less the money

Thanks for the info guys, VERY helpful. I'm looking at an 06' IX for $26,995 only 19,000miles. No mods, clean as hell in silver color even though I prefer white.

aor awd- Excellent example, thanks by the way what is ACD? My TL has vsa (vehicle stability assistance at the push of a button is this the same) Also, not forest hills close though good eye.

You'll end up paying more through a dealer. Just make sure the EVO you buy still has the warranty in tact.
