Hi all!

I'm commin to ya from SW Florida, Naples to be exact. New to the forums but just purchased my 2nd Evolution 2 days ago. I found it COMPLETELY stock and VERY clean at a dealership and walked out with a great deal!

I previously had a 2005 Blue Evo 8 with the SSL package. Ended up selling that car and getting an 2004 STi. Just traded that in for this 2005 Evolution 9 SE Silver.

Happy to be driving an Evo again and just love the car period. Happy to be aboard this great forum with amazing info on these vehicles.

Thank you!
Mark

Ya it was an 06
Still trying to read up on the difference between the mivec and how the 9's and get more hp out of them than an 8 with a stage 1 package.

Always learning, slowly, but surely!

Still confused on what I want to purchase for mods too! phew! So many questions to answer and figure out! But it's all fun!

I would start with a drop in air filter, mbc, and a full 3" tbe.

Then get it tuned.

Should get you close to 330whp.

Lots of really good choices of remote and in person tuners on this site.

Thanks Russell and Brad!

Russell - I will def agree that my questions will be answered here! Lots of great information.

Brad - I've been reading on this forum that for starters, that's the best way to go. Only question I'm stuck on, is the drop in vs cone setup. I'll have to research that a bit more!
