Beginners Read Me: New To Your Evo Or Looking For An Evo?
Hi all, name is Elmo. Recently came to the conclusion of getting rid of my trusty first gen eclipse, and getting an Evo instead. Found one before my car was gone though. Was a mechanic for some years before finding my current job as a factory rat.
So I've had my Evo IX for a couple of years now and think I'm finally ready to do some light modification to it.
It's a daily driver so I dont' want to do TOO much to it, but I do want to upgrade it a bit.
What would be one of the first things I do to it? (I'm asking this because of how old the posting is, and not quite sure if anything has changed since.)
I keep up with the maintenance regularly and want to mod. Also, what gauges should be installed when modding?
Any takers?

Hello everyone,
I am new to the site and also looking to purchase an evo 9 sometime in the near future. I found one that caught my eye at a dealership in NJ. I was wondering what is a fair price for one. The one I seen has 38k miles and 1 owner according to car fax. The dealership wants 30k. I feel they are trying to rape someone with that price because a brand new evo 9 back in 2006 was about 35k. Any input would be kindly appreciated.
Thank You,
