New EVO I owner (large updated pics Feb 08)

I thought I would introduce myself and my new acquisition. My name is Luc (aka Sip). I currently own a Nissan 180SX and now this EVO. I havn't seen too many of the EVO's I- VI on this site. I'm trying to get some 1st hand experiences of other owners, but they seem to be scarce.

I just won her last night. She is the 1st of 4 JDM cars i'm importing.

1992 Lancer EVO
4g63t
AWD
95,000 kms ( that's 59,000 miles for you americans .)
Auction grade 4.0 (the highest a 1992 can get)

I'm not sure what the wheels are, they look like OZ wheels ( anyone help ?)
I believe it even has Recaro Seats.

Here are the pics so far. They suck. I'll update when I get some more.

as promised an EVO update:

Stock Recaro's yummm!

I'd trade you. But then mine wouldn't be legal where you live, and yours wouldn't be legal where I live.

I've been trying to find some 1/4 mile data on this thing. It is also scarce.
250hp @6000 RPM
230 lbs-ft @ 3000 RPM
2728 lbs curb weight.

Should be good for low 13's right.

Very interesting car. The wheels look like the OZ wheels that I know were offered on the Evo II. I believe the Evo I had a different styled 15 inch alloy wheel or a plain steel wheel on the RS. The Recaros were offered on the Evo I. Is this a GSR or RS? Easy way to tell is if it has ABS or air conditioning and rear wiper which it does not look like it has in the one photo. At least from what I read, that is how you can tell. Oh yeah, the RS is 155 lbs lighter...

Yeah, that's an import site.
Although I'm not sure what that was in reference to?

Sip_180sx, I think he was asking where you went to get it imported from, i.e. what site? that room looks similar to how a lot of car pictures are taken for those to be exported from Japan
