I have been looking at the private used car for sale section and it seems that most of the used Evo's for sale are in the eastern part of the country.I never see any for sale in Az.or California.I see a bunch of used one at dealers in So.Cal. that are overpriced. Thanks.

My question is where are the used evo's that are in areas that dont have rust from salt.

 

We have garages here as well as 2nd & 3rd vehicles to avoid the salt & cinder

 

Good point.Thank you. I am really missing the old sti,I worked on a customers bone stock 03 wrx wagon last week and after the road test I realized that I really need a evo before summer.

 

Every who reads this should call the overpriced dealers and tell them they suck.

Every evo has rust. on the manifold from day 1.
From other threads I have read many rust fast in other area that you can seel when u remove the bumpers...

 

BUY THE way i too have been looking for a low milage 9 -it aint easy and it aint cheap.
but i will never pay dealer some jacked up price - i will do with out. till I find it ...

 

There was a white IX rs with 3k miles on it going for 23k in tucson. I saw that a month after I bought my VIII with 39k on it for the same price

There was something odd about the white rs in Tucson I saw it a while back,it had really low miles but a bunch of maintenance stuff was done to it.I dont remember what exactly tipped me off.I have been in the car business for 20 years so I'm a little particular about what I buy.
Housedj I would prefer a non mr 9 but an 8 would be ok if its extra clean.I have driven a mr9 and the mivec is prety sweet not laggy at all.Coming from a 2.5 liter this is nice to have.
