Tanabe medalion Touring--- I got it for that reason..very quiet , almost stock sound unless you lean into it...even then its quiet.

I had been looking for a few months and went with a Perrin 3 tbe to me the quality and sound were perfect. Low at idle and smoothly gets louder as you accelerate. It is true it is your opinion that matters most. I was looking for performance with out the LOOK AT ME
noise. I found Perrin was the one for me.

Best thing you can do is find a muffler that is rated at or below 93db at wide open throttle. There is a Tanabe exhaust that does that and there is the Cobb exhaust. I'm not sure if any others are below that decibel level.
When exhausts are rated a under 93db or whatever, I dont think they're measured at WOT. I believe they're measured at idle at a certain RPM (3000 or 5000 RPM I think...).
