What's the best quiet exhaust?

Can someone suggest a quiet muffler that won't sacrifice too much power? I have 2 3/4 inch piping and highflow cat, but recently i took off my str8 muffler because i got pulled over by some cops for the loudness. So i now have the stock muffler welded on. My car feels so much slower now!!! Any info or links to audio or video clips of different exhausts on an EVO8 would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Tanabe Medalion Touring or Greddy EVO2.

Hands down the quietest of all exhaust on the market.

The Cobb exhaust is also a good choice for a muffler that is not loud, but still delivers good power. They offer it two ways. One for the USDM bumper and one for the JDM bumper.

Ebay 3"TB + M.R. resanated test pipe= Highway drone

B.R. 3" TB + no cat + Mangaflow = Highway drone

The Ebay+MR sound mellow and not to loud around town and less DB's that my old BR/magaflow .

Look into a QTP dp with a cut-out with stock cat and catback, quite when you want it , powerful and loud when you want it .

B&B hands down...
My car is not very loud and does not drone on the highway, just a nice deep gurgle.

This question is too hard to answer because it comes down to personal opinion of what is considered loud. What I think is loud, someone else may think is not loud at all.

Best thing you can do is find a muffler that is rated at or below 93db at wide open throttle. There is a Tanabe exhaust that does that and there is the Cobb exhaust. I'm not sure if any others are below that decibel level.
