Getting a Lancer, Help a newb

Im soon to be getting either a 2002/2003 Lancer ES/LS. Im undecided yet because of what a owe on my other truck. But what Im aimign for is 14 second car, maybe low 15s without nos/turbo. Can it be done, is it really damn expensive? If anyone has links to aftermarket vendors that sell engine/exterior/interior/poweradders for the Lancer(non-evo) link me up. Thanks in advance.

You probably won't be hitting 14's NA for less than that. Especially with a slushbox you're going to be making it harder on yourself.

14's, good luck NA. How about a supercharger? it should be out soon. With an intake, exhaust, header, computer, cam, test pipe, and the wires that just came out mabee you'll get a mid-low 15. and the price of that together is about $1600, If you can install the cam yourself, the other stuff anyone can do. check out road race motorsports, there one of the best right now. theres also RPW, RMR,and the factory

havent ever installed a cam on a import, just a small block chevy, and it looks a lot easier to install on imports. But, that supercharger way sounds good. btw whats "NA" ?

Normally aspirated, no forced induction.

I've installed cam on VW, never on Japanese car. I'm not sure on how hard it would be, but I would learn trying.

That was directed at fkrzo. Maybe it was just the way he worded it, but it looked as though he was saying SC was NA.
