Sup guys. Been registered for a while browsing the forums but thought I would introduce myself. My name is Wei Yan. Used to have a '99 GSX back in the day before I went to the Supras. I currently drive a '98 Supra turbo.

My wife and I are expecting our first child at the end of this month, so I have been looking around at getting a more practical car since the baby seat will not fit in the back of the Supra. Been thinking about getting an Evo for my daily driver. Definitely more practical than the Supra.

i dont know if you want a baby in a a car that has that much force. ive heard and read alot of puking stories lol. but do as you please definitly a good daily driver

 

Can't seem to find any of the old pics of the GSX. It was silver/black 5sp. Big16G turbo, 550cc injectors, Greddy FMIC, Full TBE, SAFC, Eibach/KYB, SSR comp wheels, plus other misc little things. It was just slightly faster than a stock evo9. Car was alot of fun, but sold it in favor of the Supra in '01.

 

The evo is a rigid ride for a newborn. Just because it has 4 doors doesn't make it the right choice. A toddler yes but a newborn no

Yeah, was kind of worried about the ride at first, but after driving one, I don't think it will be a problem. The roads around here are not too bad, pretty smooth for the most part.

 

Well, the baby is here. We had a healthy baby boy on Feb. 5, 8lbs 13oz. His name is Maxton. I asked him what he thought about Duke and this is the response I got (check out the pic)

Hehe, cute picture man and nice Supra by the way. My dad has a red '98 TT as well but its totally stock. Can't wait to buy it from him so I can do some mods on it. Good luck on finding your Evo.

The '98 TT is a rare car, hold onto it if you guys can. Unfortunately, I may be forced to sell the Supra for something more practical at this time. I'm trying to find a WW IX MR but not having much luck. Anyone got one they want to sell or maybe even trade?
