Right now I have a Turbo back exhuast intake and EBC set at 19.5psi. Im going to be logging my car tonight to send the logs to Mellon so he can tune it. Will I be ok raising the boost to say 22.5-23 on the stock map just to log 3 runs or do I need to get some kind of base map first for raiseing the boost to that level?

thanks

Get a base map from him first. But the best bet would be to ask him first!!!

it shouldnt be a problem if you raise the boost to 22-23psi untuned. He will probably tune you to that psi anyhow.

Ok cool thanks for the replies. I'm gonna try to get my cams installed before driving down for a road tune. Do you think I would be ok without a wideband or should I just wait till I get one of those aswell. I really want to get tuned as soon as possible though.

Use the base log in first. You need to know where the initial parameters are before modifying. Ask Chris, he will give you exactly what you need to know. Upping the boost will change the baseline, not where you want to start.

Chris as amazing with a factory O2, A wideband will make your tune much safer, accurate, if you have a wideband avialable, use it. It is a much more precise guage. Ask Chris, you will get more information than you can use. If you don't have a wideband, the factory O2 will do wonders. Information is the best weapon in the HP wars... trust mellon=safe whp...

1) ignore him, this is in retaliation for me not allowing him to spam my forum with links to his website...nice try.

2) you haven't purchased anything from me.
