Noise while cold

I'm noticing that right after a cold start, that every time that I get off the throttle there is a bit of a clanging sound coming from under the car just behind the engine.

This is definitely not a good sound, and it only occurs in the first few minutes of driving around after being cold...anyone have any ideas what this can be?

How long do you let the car warm up for? I let mine run, in the winter, for about 10 min.

its funny i just noticed my lancer doing this the other day, i looked at my gauges and my temp was down below minimum.

had to leave off on the rpms a little to make it stop, then once it hit mid-temp, it was all good.

now i let my car warm-up 5-10 minutes before i go anywhere.

sounds like the backside of your belt is glazed and or your tensioner is getting weak . or maybe the ps fluid viscosity when cold is causing the pully to drag and make your glazed poorly tensioned belt squeel.
