I'm going to be a Lancer owner within the next month...

Hello all, I intend on purchasing a 2002 or 2003 Lancer OZ (yellow) within the next week to a month. I've loved these cars since I first saw them and it looks to me that they have potential.

I'm not big on Performance mods, although I do intend to make some (not for another 6-8 months, though).

I am, on the other hand BIG on appearance mods. I love taking a decent looking car and making it stand out.
So if you guys can help me out and tell me some websites/companies that make aftermarket parts, I'd be very grateful. I already know about RRM, and plan on using them to the fullest extent (they are good, correct?)

I want to know about aftermarket Taillights (carbon fiber, gunmetal, or black)
Headlights (black housing, projectors, etc.)
Side markers. (gotta get rid of that ugly amber thing...want a black or carbon fiber one)
Body Kits
Z3 fenders
M3 Mirrors
Lowering Springs. ( i dont know anything about lowering a car....what do i need? Just springs? Who makes them for the Lancer?)

My immediate plan for the car would be headlights, taillights, sidemarkers, and to lower it. Also possibly tint the windows.

After the winter, I would be interested in a body kit/fenders, and shaving the rear door handles, also better rims.

So if you guys know anything that can help me out, id be most grateful. Even if you know there are GOIGN to be parts coming soon, let me know.

Also, interior mods I need to (anything)

What do you guys think of rainguards?

Thanks again!

There's just too much information out there, I suggest you read thru the threads in the forum...if you haven't found the answer, feel free to post your question.

Happy Tuning!

A search would be most beneficial. Much faster than waiting for members to respond.

First place I recommend ya check out is www.roadracemotorsports.com . I know that most of the what they sell is performance but they do have a few of the things you are looking for too. Have fun, good luck and enjoy the car and the site!!!!

yes all you need are springs to lower. Road Race has excellent customer service so you will be very happy using them.. They offer everything you want but those fender. I never seen anyone here have those fenders so you need to look around.

the only thing i have seen is the inserts and you would need a body shop to cut and install them.

No one makes the fenders for our car yet.

personally i would stay away from accolade (body-kit.com) nothing but bad press about the around here. the only kit i would personally put on my car would be the karminari its like 800 beans and i heard it fits perfect but im not into body kits
