I just bought my 2003 OZ lancer, and was wondering whats a good cheap first engine upgrade? Something that gives a decent amount of HP over stock. I was thinking cold air intake, but im not to sure... I had a pos 91 camery before this, so i wasnt really into cars and dont know a ton. Suggestions please

yup just pic somthing from there its all goodand all good prices but don extepct to be adding 25 hp fir 150 bucks it just dosent work that way

 

the highest hp gain should come from a header for your price range. of course, a cold air intake would work too, it's cheaper. but don't expect to have 20 hp increase

 

HP wise, what would a cold air intake give me? and headers?
i was thinkin around 5-10 for cold air, dont know about headers

 

CAI and header along with test pipe, axle back exhaust and throttle body will yield around 18-20 horse power.

 

try maybee 2-5 for cai 10-12 at most for headers
