You should do a search before asking this same question every Newbie has asked. People are just going to flame you for asking that. Did you buy a performance car for the BOV noise, or do you just want to be cool? If you want to be cool, go get a Lexus or Escalade. I don't mean to be so rude, but we always see these unnecessary posts. First of all, your 9 metal BOV is good for what you need. If you want the noise get an open element filter and a tune.

I would have done a search on the net for info but the internet in Iraq is a little slower then what your running off of. So instead i asked for opinion. And just because my profile says newbie does not mean i am. My last evo had a HKS SSQ with the recirculating kit on it with many other mods it was tuned and was great but i was not sure with the engine set up in the 9 if it makes any diffrence.
Thanks

Go for the greddy type RS BOV. Make sure you do the single spring MOD, Go to evomoto.com for the install instructions and some good info on doing the single spring mod for the Greddy BOV. Make sure you get the recircuation kit w/ it. DO NOT VTA you car will idle like crap and WILL STALL.

Your stock one with an intake(just need to get a tune), Or just remove the lid off the stock airbox(if your looking to save some money), the stock one is plenty loud..

Stay stock please!!!!! Better driveability than any aftermarket BOV.

I have 385whp and boost 27psi on a IX BOV. Why in the world do you want more unless you are boosting close to 30psi.

Just a waste of money..... You can get the venting sound with just changing the intake.

Your stock one is perfectly fine if your car is stock.

If not then I went with a Greddy type-s. Sounds good and doesnt surge.

Where in Iraq, I was in Iraq and Afghanistan. Try this one, you can set it to do a little of both with out drivability problems:
