i like the srt-4, welcome any info you need this forum is the place to come. everyone is always willing to give you the help you need. turboed car indeed come here for the help you need.

The "04" srt 4 with the 300+ hp will be looking for us Evolutionaries on the street and at the strip. I love the srt 4 but it did not come with as many of the goodies I wanted as my Evo did. Too bad for Mitsu that they did not design a fwd only with sub 15 ET out of the box performance.
I looked at the HP curves and the srt 4 has a very sharp peak compared to the wider Evo band. This can be misleading since in a shop the temperatures might be controlled so the conditions that cause most fuel dumping and ignition aren't present to roll off the power as much over the 5500 peak boost. On the track or in the street the ECU correction on the Evo leave it vulerable to the str. Run 98 octane and you will see who the Evo REALLY is..I get it from 76 Union for $3.22 a gallon.
