havin trouble with their hks suction intake? meanin the filter? I jus received mine slapped it on along with the hard piping and wow I'm disappointed )): it seems like a real restricing : the air filter: I took it off and jus ran it open and it was fine but when I have the filter on it restrics it soo much that I only hit 11 lbs of boost sooo anyone? advise?

no no.... I am pretty familiar with my car n what not but seriously.... no joke its the filter... like I said I ran it without it and my car ran fine... but when I have it on it restrics air flow unbelievable amount....

 

I would contact HKS and inform them of the problem you are having. I am sure they will send you a replacement.

You can get replacement filters from HKS or you can take it out, wash it, oil it and reinstall, same as a dirt bike foam filter.

 

would that make a difference? the guy said it was a brand new filter looks like it too... but its restrictive as ****

nothing wrong with the stock airbox unless you're making over 400hp or so
