Title says it all. I did not like the previous iterations of the Evo. Paying mid-level or luxury car prices for a go kart only a 16 year old could love didn't make sense. But I'm really impressed with the X.

Some things I'll be thinking about before I buy.

• I want the SST and the MR's interior trim.
• I would like to be able to do some basic bolt-ons for my own amusement so I'm interested in what the tuners will create in the coming months.
• I hate the rear wing and I will be looking for people's experiences with removing it and cost of filling the holes at a body shop.
• I want an attractive car, but I love performance and the X's weight bothers me. I have to think how I'll overcome this one in my head.
• I would be willing to buy my X MR slightly used in 12-18 months time. I'll be reading up on shopping for used Evos in these forums.

Well that's what I'm about. Hopefully it all comes together and by this time next year I'll be in my new car.
