Dealership Laws
Are there laws that prohibit car dealerships from selling lemons? I'm tempted to buy an Evo and have it shipped to me. I know that I'll have to pay for the shipping. 2004 Evos in NY are going for 17.5 thousand

I would say so. Not sure how much it costs, but it couldn't be that much. It's a safe & secure way to find out info. It tells you about oil changes, accidents, body work, how many previous owners, recalls, & odometer. It's well worth the money. Just make sure to enter the VIN correctly.
NY isn't known for inexpensive Evos. I'd be careful buying a cheap example of the breed. You'd be much better off finding a car locally, getting a PPI from a shop familiar with Evos, and being happier in the longrun. The couple of bucks you save now can easily turn into expenses that amount to thousands of dollars, not including the aggravation and the disappointment.
