I am new to the EVO, I have always owned Nissan but was very impressed with the reviews of the new EVO X. I currently still own 2 Nissan's along with the X. I live in Alabama and got the X primarily for Auto Cross. Anyway my name is Lee, proud owner of a new X.

The Z is a really hard car to drive fast on a tight course......I mainly do PDX and Auto Cross......and a occasional trip down the Tail of the Dragon. Stock for stock the EVO has the Z beat hands down. I think the only thing left stock on my Z now are the fenders. The 240 is just a straight line monster.........454 RWHP weighing in at about 2700 pounds, GT 3071R turbo. The plas for the EVO are get her up to around 300-320 AWHP and then SUPENSION SUSPENSION........gonna make it a auto cross car.

Sounds good. You may want to invest in some weight reduction too. A light-weight X should out perform a stock IX.
