Ah, the waiting game.....Currently in that position myself. Like the others mentioned, it all depends on the parts. The way BR works, they take your order, when all the parts come in they will call you to bring the car. The level of modifications determines the time needed to complete the job. A complete build like mine will take roughly 2 to 3 weeks. The 20G-9LT "Green" is what's holding me up at this time. JROD informed me up front it could take some time becuase these turbo's are so hard to acquire. I don't mind at all. My Evo is not a daily driver . Everything can be done, just takes some coordination and patience. Good luck

Just be patient. You don't want to be hasty and screw something up on your car because you weren't sure on how to install the part. You will be much happier if you have the parts installed correctly the first time.

Trust me.. its well worth the wait to have Dan Buschur install these parts for you! I have made the trip 3 times to have work done with absolutely perfect results! From the time i call its been as long as 2 months getting my car in.. but its not a daily driver so it doesnt matter how long it takes to get my appointment. First trip was in the spring '05 i called at the end of March car went in first of May for fmic, all piping, cams, fuel pump, mini battery, intake, tune all done in 3 days. Second trip was June of '07 i called in early May for my appointment this trip was bigger cams, arp head studs, kelvar timing belt, 20G-9LT, high boost actuator, AEM, 10.5 mm turbine housing, jet coated 02 housing, alky kit, throttle body, ported polished intake and exhaust manifolds, forge bov, exedy HD twin disc clutch, dyno tune. I dropped the car off first thing Monday morning picked it up that Friday morning so thats a TON of work to do in 4 days. Last trip November '07 i called in September with my new found power i tore up 2nd gear in the transmission and got the Bushwacker tranny. I sent a spare tranny to Dan first to have him rebuild it i was there by 9am and back on the road at 2pm. So yes you might have wait awhile but you will see its well worth it! Its done right no worries! These guys will treat you right everytime!

If you can read and turn a wrench then you can do it yourself. I suggest doing some research on how to do it and you just might be surprised at the simplicity.

every shop I've ever delt with has been very optomistic with their estimates.

Typically I would think 2x on stuff, but if its a big project you may want to go with 3x.

I called in and they said they would call me as the other cars were being finished. Like I said, I'm not complaining, I just want my car to be done before spring gets here...so how long has everyone had to wait??
You have a lot of parts that need to be installed and I'm pretty sure Buschur is always busy. Its always the same waiting game. The shop where I get my parts installed, I have to call them a week in advance to make an appointment. I called Sean Ivey 2 weeks ahead to get the car tuned. Buschur's reputation and quality of work would be worth the wait.
