Question Which car should i get?

Hi, i am looking for a every day driver car and i am leaning towards a evo viii, a evo ix and a 05 impreza wrx sti. Which is a good everyday driver car and i also plan on modifying it with just bolt ons and maybe even a bigger turbo. And also another thing that has me stumped is should i get a 5 speeder evo or a 6 speeder mr, i the states i see no difference between the mr and regular evo. I also don't care for luxury. And also what down the road problems will i be looking at if i were to get an evo 8 or 9?

Evo IX "GSR" if you can find one in good shape.
Evo VIII "GSR" if you can't find a IX.
Honda Civic before an '05 STi

If you want to mod, the Evo is a good choice.
If you don't care about luxury, the base model is a good choice ("GSR")
If you take care of the car, there shouldn't be many "down the road" problems.

let me get this straight, you are looking for a daily driver and you already have a 07 corolla s. you do know that any evo / sti will get worse gas mileage than your corolla.

anyways...i would suggest getting a ix since they take better to bolt-ons then the viii, and the interior due to the black recaros looks much better. if you can't find a ix "GSR" (5-speed) then a viii "GSR" would be next. it has been shown that the 5-speed is stronger than the 6-speed. Plus if you are going to upgrade the suspension and rims no need to pay the extra for the MR.

I agree completely. I have an 04 RS 86K and stock clutch.. I am going for the record. I choose the RS because I dont care about luxury like power windows and wanted the best bang for the buck and I certainly got that as I saved 9Grand over the MR version. They are all good choices. You cant go wrong.

Flamming put aside for a minute lol, Get a IX GSR or an VIII GSR if you cant find a IX or its out of your price range. But try to use the search function before you post what would be called "noob" questions, bc ppl will give you hell about it if you dont.

Good Luck on your buy!

I also like the no frills appeal of the RS
